The New Pre-Raphaelite Movement is essentially an ideology that promotes creativity, non-conformity and a particular attitude towards art. Particular hallmarks define the fashion associated with this movement but promotion of the values of the Movement is the prime motivation of those involved and that's why we will protect and uphold these even if it means we have to use legal measures to ensure these values are not diluted or adulterated but self serving businesses and individuals who are not supportive of these ethics and are using them as a means to make money; not a means to further the principles the New Pre-Raphaelite Movement stands for and promotes.

I'm a practising witch (in the Norse tradition, working mostly with Odin, the Valkyries & Hella), Reiki Master/Teacher. My magickal study began when I was 16 working as a solitary witch at that time and at 18 was initiated into the Gardnerian Wiccan Tradition. I am now a High Priestess of Gardnerian Wicca but the craft as I practise it is not restricted to the rituals and religious observations of Wicca. Magick is the path I have chosen for spiritual development as opposed to a Pagan Religious system of belief and practice. Magick in this sense is actually more akin to the Yogic practice of Self Realisation through union with the Godhead, though my work is carried out in a ritual context. When it comes to religion I would not claim to observe a particular philosophy other than the premise of magick; to 'know thyself'. I am not a Wiccan because I do not observe the religious aspect of Paganism it defines but rather practice magick as a means of self expression and soul development and I work primarily with the symbols and structure of the Northern Tradition to that end however, many would describe my style of magick as that of the Chaote in that I can practice magick and spell crafting without the trappings and rituals that once aided me as a neophyte. Most of the time I work alone but I selectively work with a few other people that I am connected with spiritually and also as part of my work now I do offer spellwork on behalf of others as well as psychic readings through www.mayamagickal.net and www.mayarunes.net
However, most of my work is spiritual facilitation and development through Mayastar Academy which was founded in 2004. More information about this can be found at www.mayastar.net Through Mayastar I teach courses on energy healing and spiritual developement that are attunement based modalities; a number of which were originated by myself. My e-book, The Book of Inspiration, is supplied to all Mayastar Students too.
In addition in late 2011/early 2012 I originated the philosophy behind the New Pre-Raphaelite Movement. Through work with a number of artists, photographers, models and designers, things took shape and the movement gained momentum. This continues as NPR promotes all forms of art and creativity and I work personally with a number of artists and various mediums in order to further promote it.
The New Pre-Raphaelite Philosophy has developed a dedicated following of freethinkers and its own subculture fashion movement that reflects the precepts of the philosophy behind it (follow this link for more details...). This exciting development has propelled me into the public eye as the 'Face of The New Pre-Raphaelite Movement'. To show your support please visit www.facebook.com/newpreraph
In many ways I see parallels
between this work and in particular the my work in teaching through Mayastar
in that the philosophy behind Mayastar reflects the philosophy behind the
New Pre-Raphaelite Movement and both allow me to express, communicate and
share my most deeply held beliefs, values and principles with others...and
in my opinion...that's what it's all about! In many ways my 'soul
purpose' could be considered to inspire others to be more themselves and
express their soul purpose more fully...and through all my work and the way
I live, I endeavour to do just that. So perhaps I was born to be a
muse and ignite the passion of inspiration in others through everything I
As far as personal interests go, these are covered by my favourites lists really but I couldn't fail to mention ballet again! I began dancing when I was 32 (quite old for a beginner) and through a good deal of dedication and hard work became the 'oldest' person my teacher has ever taught as an adult beginner that was able to do pointe work! I love dancing of all kinds and for my modelling work of course it is essential that I stay fit and healthy but in a spiritual sense I believe maintaining physical health is fundamental too. Dance is like meditation for me in many ways!
Snippets & Secrets: I have a fair amount of body art...tribal tattoos on my breasts that are pastel colours..24 stars on my back...a tribal design on my lower stomach, a triple moon around my navel, and wings on my hips all in the same tribal style and colours.
I love documentaries about physics, maths, murderers, ghosts, ufos and stuff...almost any kind of documentary in fact. But I never ever watch the news and haven't done for over a decade!
My ears are pierced 24 times...but I have 32 piercings about my person...hmmm...
I'm kinda nocturnal (after working nights for 14 years) and it suits me gr8...though I've adapted a little to make it easier to see my boyfriend...but you're never see me up before noon!
I love bubble baths and reading in the bath for an hour is heaven to me.
I love playing the guitar and autoharp - I come from a family of musicians.
I love writing poetry...another family tradition...my uncle and grandfather both published poets and authors!
I love art...and again, I have
an uncle who is a professional artist, my sister is also an artist and I
think I could say I come from quite a bohemian background! My mother
makes porcelain dolls and does a good deal of craft work too...so I've
always been surrounded by creative people and these talents and traits were
I think I have a kind of heretical nature in that I recognise no earthly authority...the games people play and ideas they have about power have always seemed amusing to me and kinda stupid. I don't consider myself a rebel or a subversive by design...but I think I may be one by default!
I have an aversion to
terminally conventional conformist-types; people who are scared to be
themselves and be honest and open...people who lie...people who behave
dishonourably or are content to behave 'weakly'...a lack of passion shows a
lack of life in my opinion! Grrrr...makes me mad! I'm an advocate,
founder and 'face of' the New Pre-Raphaelite Movement and my philosophy is
very much expressed through that work.
I'm a pacifist and hate
violence to the point that I won't even watch violent films.
I never argue...but I have a venomously sharp tongue when provoked!
I recently found out that my blood group is very rare and I share it with my dad but we're not sure if anyone else in the family has or how far back it goes...but it indicates a strong possibility that as well as Irish, French and Saxon heritage, I have a strong Romany heritage perhaps more recently in the family tree...or perhaps going back much further as the Romanies emerged from the North of India about 1000 years ago. I wonder if I will ever find out...but it may be where some of my skill in magick originates! Interestingly, in mythology, the God Odin is depicted as a real shaman; a powerful magician who travelled to Northern Europe across country a very long time ago...and that he came from the South...India or Turkey perhaps...and that he was a King of Noble of some kind among his own people and travelled widely teaching magick and shamanism in Europe. If there is any truth to this story...it's possible that Odin the Shaman was a Romany himself...perhaps the first!
I love Chanel No 5...but I think I'm more of a fan of Chanel No 19!!!
I still have a white comfort blanket with blue moons and stars on that I've had since I was a child!
I love my Daisy Rock Guitars...they are the best I've ever played and I have five of them!
I have taken singing lessons with a view to developing some new age music but unfortunately time constraints and other commitments mean I have had to put this on hold for a time.
I wear a 20" waist corset.
My favourite crystal is opal for jewellery...but schorl/black tourmaline I love the energy of and so tourmalinated quartz has always been a favourite.
My favourite scent is jasmine...or opium...depending on my mood.
My favourite mantras are the Moola Mantra and a mantra to Maha Lakshmi.
I like to pray the Rosary and meditate on the New Testament mysteries in that way too...though I am not a Christian...I would consider that I have Christian values. Hmmm...one might say the same about Christ in fact. I advocate reading the Gospels of the New Testament to anyone who was put off Christianity by Christians in the past...because there's a good deal to learn there; much of which I feel I understood in better context after I'd read the Bhagavhad Gita which I also strongly recommend!
I love wolves, swans and bears.
My favourite colour is dusky pink.
I am not a natural red head...but in my heart I think I must be!
My favourite flowers are yellow roses.
Favourite drink is Evian...and favourite food is rice (I'm very boring!)
Favourite month is October....because I like the weather...however, I don't like the spiders!
My favourite painting is The Light of the World by William Holman Hunt.
Apart from my piercings I rarely wear any jewellery...apart from when modelling I almost never wear make up...apart from when dancing, I rarely wear shoes or make up because I'm a total hippie!
